‘Flip Tortilla – Oblique Kitchen Glossary’ celebrates the kitchen as an ever-floating heterotopia carried by odours and memories; whipped spice, sweat and grease.The glossary will be performed during the course of five hours; a dinner presented as a symphony of utensils, conversations, sound and substances in formations followed by rules, guided or stirred blindfolded, reminiscent of the repetitive act of preparing meals in a restaurant. ‘Flip Tortilla – Oblique Kitchen Glossary’ departs from Gabriel Garcia Marques’ ‘One Hundred Years of Solitude’ and Brian Eno and Peter
